I'm thinking LSP late tomorrow and Sunday. I need it. Haven't been on the water since Puerto Rico in April.

Jarch, it's great to see your name on the forum again, it reminds me of the good old days. Not to say things aren’t great now. You need to get on the lake this weekend for sure and get back to your roots.

LSP is a good call, could be wind this weekend here, but I do think the other side will blow alittle better. We haven’t really had one classic thermal day here this summer yet. Sunny skies tomorrow could produce some wind in the low 20’s but we will wait and see.

Get up to Sheboygan sometime soon to kite and to check Pena’s new basement recording studio. He’s got the place set up right in a big time way now. It’s a perfect place for you and V to play your Bebop Scat. If you need a lead guitarist, I’m sure Greg will want to play with ya

Sounds like I need to get together with some of the kiting musicians. I'll bring the upright bass.

Reggae??? Never heard of it, must something new that the teenagers are listening to. I haven't seen it on Lawrence Welk yet, but I'll keep watching for it. You guys will have to play some for me next time your up.

Wind is shaping up here this morning, so I'm going to give it an 85-90% percent chance we will be riding 11 or 13 meter kites today. I hope to be on the water by 12 or 1.

With tomorrows possible SSW @ 10-15, is the 9m too small?
The only other kite I have (so far) is 20.5. That should be about right, shouldn't it?
Is Sheboygan OK for this wind direction?
I haven't been on my kiteboard yet. Just started dragging.
I'm still pretty new to the water, so bear with my questions.

SW can be a very good direction for sheboygan at times, though with the clouds and stroms tomorrow I won't bet on this place going off.

A 9 for this time of year is a bit small unless you weigh under 150lbs, But it is a good size for body dragging and easing into the sport safely and smartly.

If your just starting make sure you just start showing up and hanging at a kite beach. Get to know people and ask questions when your not out dragging on your 9.

I'm heading down to the beach now as I'm looking at white caps while typing.

Fantastic day here in Sheboygan as it shaped up to be a classic. Wind started around 12:30 and people rode until 5:30-6. Most guys on 10-13 meter kites, with the girls on 8’s and 9’s. I started on my 13 and moved down my 11. Great crew out, most from here and Milwaukee. Wind was clean but lighter near shore most of the day, but it did come in strong for over an hour. Wind was also light on the way outside with a clean and strong strip blowing around 20 for most of the afternoon. Water was very flat with many people saying they felt they were riding in the sound at hatteras . A big wedding set up just a few yards downwind of the kite spot but no problems or worries. Hoping for a least something tomorrow.

what were you flying?

Whitehall was very light, weird sse direction, but building and switching so we did head up further north and find a launch about 5miles from mecca,,sunny, nice coastline, enough wind for 12'13',downwinder was off the hook.In time we reach the point it was more likely 10m than 12m,,burger big as a head, double rainbow, fireworks, friends, well worth the drive,,,,,,next!!!!!!
