What time would you go to Montrose? If its on I am going to try and be there around three....

Depends on when/if it blows. Looks like the forecast has come down some for Montrose... So Haven is still lookin' good! I'd rather do Montrose though... where's our resident man on the scene Adrien been?!

Its blowing good right now but its a little early for me to skip out of work

I've been out of town for a week. Montrose doesn't look strong enough today, but I use sailflow (same as ikitesurf and those types of models) and I also use this: http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/metdata/chi/prev3.html to give me data from the ground. This guy is super accurate as it's only 3 miles away from Montrose and out in the lake. All but East direction, it's a reliable read.

For me the two links on the front page of this website give you all you need to know:

iWindsurf Lake Michigan = current wind
Near Shore Chicago = NOAA forecast what it's going to continue to do.

Right now: blowing 10mph; forecast is 10-15 knots North
-Unfortunately that all = weak

I use http://www.windalert.com but that Montrose meter seems pretty wacky at times. A few of us are headed to So Haven!!

When is it wacky? Besides it being down for day a few times a year I feel that it's dead on.

Phew... glad to have you back now that I've gotten my 1st real taste of Montrose recently!
