super fun sesh. annie, jeff, mike, matt, john p showed up for fun size waves, killer sunset and upper deck mateys. felt like an ocean with the greenish water, a sunken speed boat and power in the wave nuggets. final run into the harbor for gauging the glassy sets with the sunset in my face and almost but didnt get arrested sneaking out...nice!!! better see my crew back for mo of that. still dont know the time...

Bet that sunset was nice from the water next to the jetty "wavehog", you been tagging it good this summer ......sure looked cool from around the corner watching the kites cruising back and forth, like butterflies on the breeze. Would have come up for the twilight sesh and a bite to eat but had to get back to the house, catch you next time.....

hiked the beach and caught a few under the dunes as the wind filled in and the waves built; just Kuau running the wide-open sand as I laid down some turns along the shoreline and floated the foam......sunny, golden dunes, breezy, warm water, chicago skyline, smooth inside sections, empty beach.......gotta love the many moods of Ol' Mother Michigan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how bout that!! not too many places u can let a dog run the beach, with a huge scenic backdrop, ocean like waves, alone in the summer.

What I truly love about the area, is that the mc beach is bustling with people energetic and fun, and then as you head for the lighthouse, sand bars pop breaking big, just before you must navigate into this beautiful harbor opening where stacked big walls are squeezed through, creating an outright fear, quickly to be calmed by being shot into and unexpected feathering wave pool. Just before sunset its time to cut out where land cuts back, huge dunes rise, and mile of boulders, brings the eireness back..all alone.
