The rain is not your problem today , actually the wind is .Check the spikes and shifting directions of the wind all over the lake and rethink your strategy for today. Look at the radar over a period of time and see how quickly new storms are forming.
Do yourself a favor and forget about any wind models you are checking to decide if you want to go out today or not , it's not safe out there today. So if you still ok with that and are prepared for the unknown, than go and have fun ....but don't forget to pray.

I was just saying on another post that this rain is holding back all that real North wind. It might not clear up by tonight, but once you see those clear skies you are good to go. It will be pumping all night tonight and all day tomorrow.

New to kitesurfing (been about 5 times) and wondering how Waukegan will be tomorrow (8/10)? Looks good in the am but want to make sure I'm reading the conditions correctly.
