I think I should be there by about 3 o'clock, staying until dark. Looking forward to some drinks at the end if anybody wants to stick around.

Did you guys get any up there today? How was the ice & snow cover? I was teetering between lots of work and marginal winds down here. Never really seemed to get anything worth it enough to put things down and head out to the South side fields.

Sweet! What kind of winds and for how long? I chose not to go and since I'm a masochist, I wanna hear all about how I made the wrong decision….

Gonna be good for the next few days for sure. Had a flat tire that caused me $300 is damage and a hell of a morning yesterday. I am sick of driving! Gotta work Sat but going to try and get out on the snow board this week at some point.

I live about 3 miles from Grass Lake. We're supposed to have some good northerlies in the next few days, and we just got about a foot dumped on us. Should be really good.

So is the ice solid everywhere? Been above freezing all week on the So side. Do all you guys ride with ice picks?

I was wondering the about ice conditions too. Anyone been up there? No one has updated the lake link for Channel Lake recently (
http://www.lake-link.com/Illinois-Fishi ... nnel-Lake/).
I do carry ice picks around my neck, but I think grass lake is pretty shallow anyways.
