Water Temps 36- 39 = 6/5/4 full hood and gloves.

Windalert Showing SSW in afternoon.

In case of issue, my plan is to stay close to shore in case self rescue is required, you land on shore before the Waukegan Generating Station.

I wish I had one of the under suite heaters : http://www.heatedwetsuits.com/thermalut ... undersuit/

Nice! I hope you guys get some good riding in...GD-it! I tweaked my back a few days ago at the gym and of course it is still bugging me. Feels like an endless pinching...sigh. and a week before Costa Rica. Gonna rest it for the trip.

All around great day, so good to see everybody. Wish I would have hit the gym this winter. 9,10,11,12's out there in the washing machine making the best out of it. Scotty putting on a Back Roll clinic in the pool. Mike Z came in fasionably late in his even more fashionable dry-suit. Indiana crew rippin it up all day. I think I saw Artem in the pool as well. Great times. Stoped by Wests place on the way back, got my Brokite board set... Thanks again buddy... Get that finger healed up quick.

Hoping to set up downwinders this spring and carpool so get at me.

myyyyyy oh myyyy wow! can that get any better! Saw many out who looked better than when i saw them last fall. Luckily me and artem didnt end up a casualty as I pulled full trigger on a jacked kiteloop to somehow tomahawk artems kite at full speed just past midway. The sound of the smack was like hitting the ground but they just bounced off each other and we busted out laughing. nothin but good times. fffff that was a good day and killer to see all the same faces going hard

Glad you guys got some. Was watching the meter hang between 20-25 all day. Question is was the meter accurate? I saw someone say 9-12s on the water so it seems it was...

Yep! A brief, must've been 18/19, which seemed to be the cue for the 1st shifters to clock out leaving myself and…Andy, I think??… and 1 other newer gent to man the the assembly line ourselves as it picked back up. Spoiled by the fairly clean SE, all decided to end 2nd shift as it moved SW around 4p and cranked up to a gusty 28ish its! Great opening weekend!!
