Looks like it may come in for Friday on a South to SW direction. Don't have time to drive up to LSP where it may be crankin' so Wolf will do. First ride of the year there....anything I need to know about that's changed?
Adrien I've been there a handful of times already this year. There are some large dirt piles from some sort of construction project north of where we launch, fortunately does not really affect much for now. A large "puddle" has formed between the water and the parking lot which messes up the launch area but maybe that will get better if the rain ever stops.
The geese crap everywhere just sucks, but not sure anything can be done.
I think it bears repeating every year that Wolf is not a beginner spot, with hazards everywhere and crazy gusty wind. You need to know how to ride underpowered and overpowered b/c it seems that's all you're doing there. A fellow kiter last week had to self-rescue from downwind by the small grass and handled it flawlessly, just know that throughout much of the lake it's too deep to walk so you'll have to swim with your kite. It's a pain in the ass place to kite but nonetheless a valuable spot so everyone be careful and self-police if you need to.
the park district says that one footed boardoffs will be restricted to the small area just behind the parking lot but not past calumet road. Also must have ur toenails clipped and running shorts over your wetsuit preferred.

Hey Kids! Check out the video (Make sure to hit HD):
So a few notes for next time:
1.) Go big: Try something new. Not only is this the only way to progress by trying something new or hard, but it makes for the best crash footage 2.) Get close: GoPro's have a fisheye lens, although I was able to counter the effect with some electronic zooming you still gotta get close. When I'm holding the camera you can get as close as you want. That thing is on a stick for a reason. I duck down in the water when you guys are close. I doubt the camera or stick care if you smack the hell out of it. 3.) Jump early. Jump a tad early so the move caught is in the same position. I can also catch you flying over me for a better effect if that's what you are going for.
