Thinking you were calling for the 11th, tho mayb Sunday afternoon was good at casino.....

Sunday sunrise was a bit light on the 9m at Miller, but tagging a few with the 2 dozen surfers up at the jetty was kewl......stayed downwind of 'em, and didn't spray em....they were catching head high waves with a few bigger ones left and right...super smooth..... Trooper was there getting some of the rights!!!

yeah be sure to smooth it with them because they ringed me up, all pissed about a longboarder who got sprayed and weaving the inside line up; snaking waves. Having lost a board or two on a weak wave, it can be dangerous. I have surfed many years with them and good friends with the ones who are upset and dont want to be tied in with it. One of my friends said if he had got sprayed (like the longboarder) he would have taken their gear on the beach..jsut so this person knows!

No need to be tied into anything Scottie...I was the only one up there, got up there at sunrise and kited with several surfers till the rest of the surfers started showing up....Got heckled a couple of times by the newer arrivals, smiled at 'em and stayed downwind....caught many waves just downwind of 'em, talked to 'em on the beach next to the rocks, was up there for hours till the wind laid down abit, the only "3" surfers who approached me complemented the waves I was catching, and the gorgeous day...I never weaved thru the line-up and I sure as hell didn't snake anyone's wave....

Tell your surfing buddies anytime they want to address something with me to go ahead and do it on the spot. I wasn't running, I wasn't hiding, I was right there on the beach with them all morning....give 'em my phone number if you want...the fact of the matter is that they didn't like having me around, and I can understand that, they are "territorial" like surfers get; let your buddy know there is no need to take my gear, I have some extra gear to give him so he can get into kiting... I know the rules of the surf buddy: I wasn't a danger to anyone of them at anytime, and the waves I caught were too far out and too far down the line for them to catch....

That being said, it was a beautiful day...the waves were clean, glassy and abundant and there was wind on it.....the lake is there to enjoy and share...Trooper should have some good pics of the surfers just "killing it"....sometimes there would be 5 guys at once up and riding, going left and right, hooting and a hollering... :)

Rip it up with the crew at Casino today, it looks like a cold Norther....

Keep in mind I'm doin y'all a favor trying to keep some peace and not going to be invved to police it obviously but just know they saw it weaving and too close. I'm sure u know more than anybody where the line is and will make it all good. Btw there is also a problem if I were to gobble up the goodies on my sup, so it's gonna come down to respect
