I'm sure most of you are burned out from all the sessions you've had this week. As for me, I've been waiting for the weekend and watching the winds dissapear.

Do the pros predict any ridable weather? Sat early morning maybe? Fat chance?

Anxious to kite,

I'm no pro, but I've realized that right before a storm the forecasts are terribly unreliable. I just watched the forecast go from 21 SW to 13 SW within a few hours. Doesn't look like much anywhere besides Wisconsin.

In addition, it is extremely dangerous to go out into the water when it forecasts thunder storms later in the day, cause it may seem like a nice weather, but in split second wind direction can reverse, and storm come unexpectedly. :?

Noah sent me a message that it's blowing up his way. Way too far for me to drive today but if you're really going nuts......

My backup plan was to get the hobie out if the breeze was too light to kite but the damn storms in this area are making it unsafe. Nothing like a 28' lightning rod sticking out of the middle of your rig.

Aaaaarrrrgghh!!
