I thought onshore wind is a good thing, isn't ? that way you know you can't go far from the shore line..... yet I'm new , so I'm still learning...

My point exactly , you won't go far enough from shore so any unintentional kite loop or any other mistake and you may be landing your superman flight on the beach.

Experienced Kiters + onshore wind - not recomended
Beginners Kiters + onshore wind - BAD
