Yea, as west said it does turn off shore sometimes when it gets hot. I'm planning on bring a waverunner with me just in case is does go offshore SW but I think most likely it'll be south for a good portion of the day and switch to SSW late afternoon.

Hmmm, from looking at everything I guess I'm just going to have to see what things look like in the morning. Artem you still planning on around noon?

Yep, sometime around 11 or 12.

Shoot I was around the LSP area yesterday!! Ugh it'll probably blow like crazy over there. Waiting for the wind to switch the southern buoys switched to S or SSW just need to wait and let it hopefully switch here.

I don't think it's going to happen if you aren't on the Michigan side. I want to go to Wolf right now, but unless I get a report otherwise I think it's just too big of a gamble for light wind.

Yea, something makes me think that it might not switch to SSW.

Muskegon very light all day....................LSP report in.

How was it?

Hit LSP with V, Greg and Da Haven crew.........just a breath of wind South of the Point, but hit the "promised land" and sure enough there was good texture on the water and whitecaps building.

We waited for it to build and watched some kiters make the 14's work...the clouds moved out, it heated up and BAMMMMM.....it was on like Donkey Kong. 12's were the call, and it was sunny and a smooooooth wind built to bout 20.

There were 25 kites rigged on the sand, with up to a dozen on the water at a time. Blew good from noon till 7. Picked up about 4 when Greg showed up and some 9's and 10's were pumped up. Eventually some clouds moved in, it turned a bit offshore and the beers made a brief appearance.

We caught the New Holland Brewery on the way home, and made the drive back through the storms to Chitown!!

Met some folks from Muskegon, and Holland. Jon Lynch came up from Indiana and had a great sesh....staying upwind and demonstrating his knowledge of the wind from his windsurfing days. Ray came up from Porter and had a great sesh as well...smiling all day long. Chris and Dave made the trek from South Haven and caught the tailend....and of course Da Haven crew of Blueberry Bob, Big Todd, and Jimbo were there ripping it with Bob's son Zeno (12 yrs old) getting the "blue ribbon" of the day!!!!

As beautiful a day as you will ever see on the Lake.....hell V and Big T were kiting in shorts it was so damn gorgeous up there. Gotta love those dunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rode at Buttersville, thought it was supposed to nuke, but ended up on 13C, till it dropped at about 4pm.

Sounds like it was much better where you were.

I must say I was hoping to see you buddy....cause I know you carry some beer with you.

Actually when we pulled up to the "honey hole", there was a big truck there that I thought was yours, but nada. Next time Noah, always enjoy kiting with you, especially in your backyard!!

So good....kiting in shorts in mid-June at LSP is ridiculous. Totally ridiculous. and on a work day. Nice!

Blue skies, flat water, empty beach, kite-crews from all over, couldn't ask for a better day. Was sunny and windy until we left the beach around 7pm.

Next time going to make a weekend out of it. Noah you missed a good day but I'm sure you'll get plenty more. Gonna be a good summer!
