Yesterday was such a sweet surprise with wind coming up strong from the west after 3 p.m and blowing steady almost up to sunset when it decided to suddenly shut off. Another afternoon of that seems almost too much to ask for...but I'm asking!

I'm heading to miller now, not sure if it will be ridable. Even if it isn't it should be a nice day on the beach!

Sunny, wnw, will be interesting to hear the reports from miller as these are skunkage conditions. Hope you guys get it as I'm stuck working all week. Good luck.

O.K. white caps gone, breeze lightening up, crap! I think I'm not going to "make the call" any more. From now on I'm just going to give informstion and you can make your own calls. I don't want people coming down and getting pissed if they get skunked.

Appreciate the update! You saved us the trek all the way out. We have the buggy & foils with us so we're diverting to Washington Park in Chicago for some land fun... hopefully there aren't too many other activities happening in the field. Keep us posted if a miracle happens and we'll point that way again.

Washington Park was 0 gusting to 1 but we ended up finding enough wind for the foils in a local park in the So burbs.

Mike, I know what you're talking about, it's been windy all day and the trees looks full with wind, but like you, I went to a near park with my landboard and my 4.1m, just to find almost no wind and at time, gust that kick me on the grass with no chance to get on my board :oops:

........... Oh well...

Man I am sore from being dragged around on my Flexi Foil blade. My nephew and I were grass skiing in the wet grass. Too wet to use the board. Sometimes skidding through big puddles to get all muddy. I was in Lemon and the wind was about 22mph gusting to 32mphat about 1pm it did slow down at about 3pm but still some power
