Isn't SSW a little offshore in Michigan City? I could be wrong, I've never ridden there.

I am looking to ride tomorrow and willing to go a bit of distance if needed. Might be the last of the warm riding for the season.

I'll be headed somewhere tomorrow, probably to South Haven. Can't beat free parking, a wide open beach, and a great local crew.

*Secret* You can park on:

California, Louisiana, Georgia, and Illinois streets are free parking and a better location because of less people and the way the sandbars have been forming. These AKA stops 1, 2, 3,4. I don't believe Washington park is charging anymore. I could be wrong. Just save me a damn spot.

I'll try to get out there tomorrow. I also have a property I manage that can fit 6 cars off street. Call me if you want to park there as I don't know if my cleaners have cleaned the property yet and still may need to get in it.

MC way off shore today.......South Haven will be good later prob, Holland better, best farther up Mi side.....Sheboygan will be good as well on the West side of Lake Michigan.

Headn to the Point myself for some of the 2-day blow!!!!

It actually did "thermal block" at SH mid-day. We got a nice morning session on 10's and a nice later afternoon session on 12's.

warm wind over a cold lake heading for a very warm shore = thermal block.

Thanks for your dead-accurate local report from Wolf, I'm sorry we didn't meet in person.
It was gusty beyond belief but really strong for a while (a 9m for a 210 pound guy), and quite a thrill - until it died suddenly right after 4 pm.
When it restarted 40 minutes later, it was much lighter but 13s and 15s were flying, and guys were having fun again.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow
