the water was SOOOO toasty and the waves were pretty nice too.. should be just as good tomorrow.. there's no charge to get in anymore and the road to the "circle/marquette" is closed so i'll be at lake street beach.. should be there around 6:30 again.. love the sunrise..

Is there enough wind for those withot a flysurfer. Would my machine 20.5 meter be good enough or maybe my peterlynn 19meter. GIve me a call maybe I could go out tomarrow morning with you.

SailFlow says it will be good @1pm 16knots and @4pm 17 knots NE. I am not sure if I can go I will probably have the kids. If it was good in the morning I would go.

I'd love to get going today... Is miller beach the best bet for this area. I am new to the area and not sure. probably gonna leave in the next hour if anyone's interested.

I'm here and the wind is pumping. No one else here though. Someone come kite with me! Big waves too. Water nice. Wind about 15-17 with gusts to low 20s.

hey lindsay sorry about jumping ship on miller.. when i checked the buoy after church it was only blowing like 9ish and in was rippin at keegs so i headed there..

an good time at keegs, about 15-20 kiters (looked really cool seeing all those kites on the way back in to the beach..) HUGE thanks to Derrek and IVO and scott for grabbing my kite which decided to make a run for chicago after the kiteloop broke my chickenloop.. I'd say we're even for sure and that'll be one heck of a story..

Yes, it was such a perfect day in Keegs. It felt like more windy than the readings said, perhaps because it was such a nice, clean wind. A few people I know had their first real rides, or some other big "firsts."
It was my first day on 12m Switchblade3 after Maurice aka Dutchkiteboarder replaced the bladder damaged a while ago, what a joy to have just the right amount of power and a responsive kite for a change.
Sailboats and powerboats stopping and turning to watch, hey, that never happened when I was windsurfing

Miller was great yesterday too. Rode from 10 to noon then 1:30 to 2:30. 15 to low 20's NE powered fine on 13M. Nice waves, a bit choppy. Couldn't believe I didn't see one other kite in the air.
