Yes, but let's watch it until tomorrow night and decide where to go, or listen to the experts... West & Co., what do you think...?

Good call on Betsie West, going to be big and bad over there. I hope the caravan of chicago kiters is ready for what is in store for them. what time is everyone leaving 6 am or 5?

I got off of school for the start of deer hunting so I'm going to do some hunting myself for the perfect waves on friday, but on this side of the lake. Sheboygan could be good in the early morning and then heading up the coast to check some spots, ending up in DC I bet.

Whats Palatine Greg doing is he heading with you? If not he better head up and see me.

IVO if you want to ride tomorrow we got kites for you to use, bring Slavi with ya
I'd rather be Rollerblading

Looking forward to a fun day on the water tomorrow! Will decide exactly where a little later on.

Probably will do some landkiting this weekend too.

Heading to Florida on Monday to visit my Grandmother for three weeks. Happy to get one more session in on the water before I go!

Happy Kiting!

My Grandmother lives in Cape Coral which is near Ft Myers and a little ways from Naples. I kited once there near Sanibel Island and it seemed pretty nice besides the causeway and currents under it. I tried to kite Naples and looked incredible though no wind those days. Ft Myers Beach has the best landkiting beach that I have ever seen, humongous hard packed white sand beach. They have international sand sculpture contests there. Had an amazing kite buggy session there last year with a 7m Ozone Frenzy. Thinking about trying to sneak my landboard on Monday with my carry on luggage :)

Sorry to go so off topic here

Will start a new thread about landkiting this weekend when we figure out the day and best spot. Should be a fun weekend!

Leaving the city tomorrow about 10am. Be great to see you soon!

Pompano is light but it will pick up in a bit. The mako wide works awesome even with big swells we have here. Nice not needing a wetsuit. ;)

I ended up on Wolf. When I came around 1, it was all white caps, and 1 windsurfer, on a tiny board and a 5.8 m sail, barely touching water.
I had almost 2 hours of goodies on a 9 m before it died down.
Just before it did, Adrien came - nice to meet your man, thanks for showing me how to land on Wolf to avoid those pesky pebbles by the shore. I'm sure you guys know it but I never saw it done - you just jump 5 feet from the shore, fly up some 15 feet, take the board off your feet while in the air, and land gently on the grass between the two lifeguard towers. " Elementary, my dear Watson."
Now I shut up and wait for the real stories... from up north...
