Is Grass Lake the closet place to get my snowkite on?
I hate to miss the Bears game, but it looks mighty nice out there!

Rorke, if you hit Grass Lake, and park by the bar, you can kite till 12:30 and take a break between sessions and catch the bears game in the bar that's right on the water's (or ice's) edge..

if anyone needs to, give me a call.. also, i'll try to update from Grass on the conditions..

How 'bout this Saturday, the 15th? Any chance you folks are hittin' Grass Lake again this coming weekend?

Forecast is decent, mild winds in the morning / lunchtime then 17 gusting 26 late afternoon.

Don't know what you'd consider good but windfinder.com shows 17 gusting 23 or better most of the morning today. Lake should have 4+ inches of snow, haven't been there yet but I'm hoping the near-freezing last couple o' days has stuck it to the ice really good. Dutchkiteboarder and I are gonna' meet at GL at 10. Couple other folks said they'd go, dewsy and Jimbo.

If that won't convince you, I volunteer to shoot video & pass it back for bragging use.....
