12/30 Waukegan frozen over yet?

I haven't been able to go up there due to suffering from a fractured rib, is it frozen over yet? Last year it didn't really freeze over..

I am always riding wounded or not lol. If I can pull away from the grasp of the woman I will go up that way just was curious how much if any ice was there. Most of the ice usually forms south but I guess I'll find out...

Ok went to Keegs today, really sloppy out as the temps were rising. I went out on the getty and there was no ice north of it, south was locked up because lack of flow. I ran back and grabbed all my gear, walked back and rigged up. The time it took for all that to happen and ice field started to wash ashore pissed me off. Now way I was going to ruin my new board for a ride :roll: . All wasn't lost I decided to take a swim to cool off, quite refreshing and felt much better afterwards :wink:
