Well I rode with Jason at keegs yesterday got around 40F water I guess around the same. You need a thick suit, I use a 6/5 (hooded) with 7mm booties and 2mil gloves which are surprisingly warm. I rode without a hood for a while but after face planting receiving a GOOD flushing and having to chase down my board around the Getty (yes again guys ordered a leash lol) I quickly put it up. If you don't have heavy suit maybe doubling up like Jason does but the booties/gloves are a must! Polo

From Madison is a trip! Take 94 head towards Milwaukee to you hit 45 head south to the 894 bi pass/43 north all the way till it runs back into 94 east again and head towards chicago. You can just follow 94 through the city or take the tollway I 294 all the way down to 80/90 east. Take that past the border stay on 80 east towards michigan, go past I 65 to Ripley/51 north. Take that till it T's then make a left. Go into town and you will see a Mc Donalds on right, turn right there and follow it through the HOOD lol. You will go through a forest preserve and you'll know when you are close. I hope this is mostly correct as i am going by memory and I prefer 45/894 over taking 94 through Milwaukee just years of driving that route...

I can sum it up with one link
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&daddr=8 ... Gary,%20IN - Lake street beach. If you see kiters to the east then that's Marquette park or the Colosseum. Not hard to find just start driving east

Oh sure, you guys can come out with all your fancy links and all but you can't come out when there is wind haha! Soon enough the water will be 70 and the rest of you guys can come out to play but for now it will just be Jason and I oh and a dude from Madison

my magic number is 120. if the air and water don't add up to this I go somewhere where it does. stay warm guy, watch each other, and have fun.

Naaaa I'm just teasing you guys lOl. Usually I don't have the time off of work but now that I am able to extend my season with cold gear it has been great! I can't wait to see everyone when it is a bit warmer out but until then, I'm gonna suck up what I can

. 120? Man that will be a long time from now water is around 40 and I don't see it getting 80 anytime soon but who knows
