I love this time of year. The forecasts look like Hatteras ( okay not 100%, but I can dream :P ) I'll be sticking Montrose and keep it close.

The wind has switched and is building. I have to drop my kids off at school around 8:30 and will be on my way by 9:00 so around 10 for me.

Houston, we have a problem!
A belt broke on my truck, so I have no way to get to Waukegan...............unless someone could give me a ride from Glenview. Gas is on me. Call if you can help, (847) three70- three584. I can leave anytime after 11:30am.
If not, have a good time and I`ll be in the next time.

Smallest kite I brought was a 9m and the wind is too hot for that even on the first knot!

this was a day for less than 9. most of us used 7 and at times it felt too much.
Good day, over all, much colder than Sunday :D

This was right after me and another guy pulled a fellow kiter off the rocks of the Getty! His kite lost air and folded forcing him to pack/swim for the rocks. Artem was nice enough to head out approx 200 ft past the Getty (he was pictured between the walls on the calm side) to grab dudes board which he carried all the way to the beach, Thanks Artem!!! This is why we shouldn't kite alone... Polo

Naaa it was a 2007 GK Sonic. When that wave hit I was washed out and stopped on by my chin on one of his line caught on the rocks! Water was that Powerful, worse thing about it was nobody had a knife handy so I started chewing and using the rocks to cut them then all of a sudden it was loose... Great respect for that lake...
