Mike Urban is an avid hater of Wolf lake, but it sounds like the next closest call besides going to the Michigan side. I might show up before the T-storms too.

Forecast is now South all day. Waukegan is looking better.

I think you are going to get a thermal block though. I don't see the forecast hitting Waukegan that hard (10-13knots) I don't know though...could be way wrong.

Mike, what's your call? You are the most experienced here and being a pilot and all.....I'd trust your experience. Don't want to put pressure on you if you are wrong, but you'd have the best call IMO. So where are you going lol?

I think it's going to be about proximity. If you're close to Waukegan, go there.

I'm closer to Wolf Lake. South Haven and Waukegan take the same time to drive to from my place.

The little pull of the land tends to make Waukegan work when the airport is showing 190 degrees, just slightly south west.

I hate wolf more then mike so, the only place ill be going if its doable is keegs.
