that is AWESOME! I've been thinking about scouting out open field hills in south western wisconsin to hit up that kind of riding around here. jeanne from hoofers told me about that place in utah, skyline. its the only snow kiting destination in america I guess. cool post

I've only kited on snow a handful of times....but when i did I really enjoyed the differences between snow and water.

seeing how he handles his LEI on land makes me almost rethink the superority of foils....almost

but it does really make me want to go fly a kite!

that is an awesome video, but before any of us decide to go try the same thing lets ask ourselves is Alex a kite skier or a kite pilot. I say kite pilot, its all in the kite and it is alot easier to launch yourself off the side of a hill and catch huge air than it is to come back down safely from that jump, not to mention do it with incredible style. Alex is trained in paragliding and really knows what he is doing in the mountains. Sure looks like fun though.

In my opinion alex peterson doesnt have much. I believe he may have the experience in the mountain as a glider, but his snowkiting skills are fugly.
