I'm going to Telluride in March. I'm very glad to find your post. It's why I joined the Forum. I've been kiting for 7 years but never on snow.

I want to bring my 2005 Slingshot kite size 9.0... What sizes are best if I were to bring two ?

It's legal to kite there? Do I need permission?

Keep having fun.

My complete quiver for water and snow is 13 10 8 EH, LEI and I never have a prob on the snow or the water. No need for big kites on the snow.

Critter!

nice, March is a great time to be in Telluride! your going to have a blast.

no need for permission....just park and ride...

there are a ton of spots in the area around Telluride, that one is just the quickest one to get to from T-Ride...about 15min.

I usually bring my 8m, 13m and 21m, but have left the 21m C kite at home the past few trips cause its just to big to pump and i think my be on the dangerous side for the mountain winds.

I would bring your 9 and something bigger, like 13-19

some of those dudes in the photos were riding the 19m Fuel i think.

let me know if you need more info or have more questions

Thanks for the feedback.
I never flew a kite over 16. So I'll bring my 14 and 9. The same kites I always fly. I want to bring only one bar...(umm, maybe both).
I'm getting fired up! I've been planning this trip for months but just recently thought about kiting. I'll keep you posted on the adventure.
