yeah, I had to watch it a few times before my eyes would accept what my brain was telling me, that its a fake. if you watch the higher res version, right before and after the explosion, the surfer looks CG and the mist after the explosion has that video game quality to it. but very well done, besides, the fact that quicksilver has its name on the end made me immediately suspect of it. there's a thread going on kiteforum about it.

Hmmm, how much did that wave cost hiim if it was for real? I think 5 sticks of dynamite are a bit beyond the budget of a few highschool kids. But funny!
