As the result of a launching mishap a 9m TD2 landed 80 feet up a tree. Matt Hurdman is a local rider who is also a competition level arborist. He came in from the water, got out his ropes and rigging and up the tree he went. The whole operation took 10 min. The kite had damage to one panel. This is the second time Matt has rescued a kite from the same tree.
