Baja kitesurfing the waves

Postby slavman » Tue Apr 27, 2010 9:41 pm

I just wanted to share my kite cam video from my trip to Baja. This cam is now around $100 and the quality is not bad.

Pier,
it was a regular lens GoPro, not a hi def. this way you put it up there and get an acceptable size of yourself. this cam is around $100 now. the only drawback is 2GB memory card which only fits about 50min of video. i hope they come with a new version. if you put the hi def new GoPro on the kite it will make you look very small since their lenses are 120 and 170 degrees.
see you on the water

Bob,
the camp was great, it was Matt Pritchard's wave windsurfing clinic. I have to say, a lot of windsurfers are now thinking about learning to kite too, since they would spend much more time on the water and catch many more waves. Either way windsurfing the waves rocks too!
several guys lost their kites since it's side off shore wind, but if you play safe everything should be ok. the waves were rather small, but completely sufficient to have fun. absolutely no injuries - the most important!
thanks for the new quiver. it was your 9m SB and it worked well!
best regards
