ok here's a question. check out 5:05. i'm doing the same thing, pop to toe, pull back hand and do a long heelside turn. but then you just lose all speed. how to make it more continuous? i've done it with a downloop and that works, is it the same as with waveriding that you have to keep the kite ahead of you all the time?

What works for me is to start steering and powering the kite before the moment you want to do you turn and steer your kite back up again (like when you don't have enough wind you have to cinus your kite up and down all the time.
But I have the same sometimes too
