2010 Kiteriders OBX trip pics

T minus 7 hours before Ben, Jens and Bob leave for OBX and meeting up with a big crew for 2 weeks. Here are a few pics from last year to get the stoke going.

wheeeeee...what a fun day today. winds on the lighter side, but perfect for training. Jens, Ben and I spent most of the day training and we had some amazing results for the first day of riding. Lisa, Dave, Jeff and Adrian all did fantastic.

Then Dimitri from Epic dropped by late afternoon and we took a spin on the 2011 kites and he left them overnight for tomorrow which looks even better.

The 14m is super powerful and here's a pic of me riding it in fairly light winds About 9-13 a best and able to stay upwind with no problems and I'm not a small guy.

wind forecast looks fantastic with super strong winds coming this weekend. woo hoo.

more training tomorrow, then some riding mid afternoon.

The OBX trip has been great so far. It is the third day in a roll with good winds. The atmosphere in the house has been super cool and everyone was ripping. Here are some pics taken by Liz. Enjoy
