Solid movie. You do these for fun? profession? What video editing program do you use?

Why do so many people use Vimeo instead of YouTube? I've never been forwarded anything from Vimeo except for kitesurfing vids.

Also, for those who use Adobe Premiere (I think you said you do Adrien), what kind of file do you export your edited vids to? MPEG2-DVD 720x480?

Shooting and editing just for fun, no profits. It is pretty nice getting home from an awesome day of riding, buying a six pack and start editing.

As far as editing software I use the inexpensive (~80 bucks) nevertheless powerful Sony Vegas Platinum. One of the few that would work ok with sony output files . In kiteAttack I barely used heavy editing, just the basics. There are lots of tutorials online.

As far as shooting, all of them handheld. Karl and I decided to team up this winter and we are capturing trick from multiple angles for the next snowkiting clip. The only problem is that the conditions so far haven't been great but we are still hopeful that we get more snow and solid winds.

I used vimeo for the sake of file size. The player also accepts uploads of files with several different formats with great output, specially HD. Thx for the comments
