WTB: Shipped to NZ

If you got some new digs, thinkin its gonna help your kiting step-up to the next level, blow out your used gear here and watch that grom shred harder than you on your old kite.

WTB: Shipped to NZ

Postby smpl » Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:18 pm

hey Great Lake Kiters. just wanting to check if any of you have some cheap gear for sale. particularly i am looking for:

- 13m+ C-kite (preferably fuel/razor 2010 or later in good condition)
- 7m or less high wind/gust eating/low aspect wave riding machine, and yes *gasp* bridled kite.

just looking for a deal. don't need a bar and i need it shipped to New Zealand - should cost about $90 in shipping.

Bob, you got much in stock?

Wave riding?!

I'm assuming that the 7m is for someone else, right?

Nothing C kite in 13m, but have both an 8m and 6m RPM. New and cheap. Great kites for high winds.

No worries. Also have 6m Epic renegade. Both new and demo. 6m Rally demo.

7m Key, but probably not the kite you're after.

Doing well my friend, we had an awesome season this year and yes, I still have my pink board...getting more and more dents but she is tough!

At least I don't have a pink kite like someone else...

It's good to hear from you, post pictures of your wave riding when you can, do you have any good spot over there? Gotta make the trip one of these days...

Bob, will be in touch!

Jens, I had the 2010 model. I found that I could never depower it enough to feel comfortable. The 6m RPM seemed to be built as a performance kite that you would unhook well. The problem is that when I am in strong enough winds to need something smaller than a 9m, they are always way to gusty for this feature to be useful.

I am trying to find a kite that really doesn't pull as much in its upper end. It's hard to explain but some bridled kites seem have this feature and some do not. For example, i found a 7m and 5m Cabrinha Convert highly depowerable and could take it out in any winds. however the 6 and 8m Switchblade still has way too much power.

not too sure if i am doing something wrong as i know riders who rip on the 6m Switchblade and RPM. would to hear your insights as this is the 3rd kite i am trying to fill as my high wind kite. i have given up on finding one that is good for unhooking.

yesterday the wind was averaging 60 kph
