getting started

If you got some new digs, thinkin its gonna help your kiting step-up to the next level, blow out your used gear here and watch that grom shred harder than you on your old kite.

emaerz,

First you want to make sure you get a lesson. A lot of people see people doing this or have board skills in other things like snowboarding, but most of kiteboarding if flying a giant kite. There are great instructors all around you. You got guys to the north and a lot of instructor in the michigan side.

If you looking new now is a good time most of the shops have packages including me. If your looking used check it out first, I recommend new, but we do take stuff in on consignment. Right now in stock a local just dropped off a 17m cabrinha nitro for $399, a 14m CO2 $375, both of those are 04 kites. We also have closeouts coming in next week with 05 liquid force drop boards for under $200 new, and liquid force spec 2 05 20m new complete for $449.

But I do stress a lesson is a must.

How big are the Liquid Force Drop boards?

Postby BigWaveDave » Mon Jul 03, 2006 10:56 pm

Which do you think is better for a beginner?
1.Liquid Force Drop
2.Slingshot LFT
3.Hammersurf HTT 175cm

Thanks for your help!

All 3 are good boards, I've had a drop and LFT. LFT is a bit big. But if your learning drop may be a bit small too. You can grow into the drop easy, but you will grow out of the LFT. Hammer is just a damn big ass board. To big in my option.
