Crossing the Atlantic by kite

As common as it has become, i still think crossing the Atlantic in a boat is an incredible undertaking. This sounds insane but if I were going to pick a crew based on how much they have inspired me I would have picked lou and rueben as well. I doubt the rest have the gumption to even do half of this.

I was wondering if anyone would attempt this. I though they would do New York to Spain or something. Still 6000miles.....wow! So do they sleep, eat, drink in the water then? Undoubtedly they have boat support, but can they get in the boat?

Looks like they are taking shifts of 4 hours a piece. They will have a chase boat, but they didn't say what they would do if there is no wind? The trip would take them 11days by their estimation... that's a lot of kiting.
