The Times newspaper here in Indiana posted a story with a link to the new buoy off shore from Michigan City... lotsa good info from it. Bookmark it!

Sweet, lets hope more and more are added around the lake. This buoy is pretty advanced, I noticed you can sign up for an on-shore wind alert text so no one misses optimal kiting conditions. Another great feature is a siren and light on top of it that goes off every time someone boosts a 50ft air within a 28 mile radius. Sweet Stuff people
