I kind of like the modular electric pod system idea from wavejet. This design does kind of look like a race board design. Wonder how much a small water jet is on ebay.

Wow, that technology has come a long way!

Similar to Mountain biking vs. XC Motorcycle.

If you want less work and more wave rides, and can deal with the noise, smell, and a less pure ride - here you go.

When the time comes, I sure hope these guys understand when I ask them to ride elsewhere.
