today was my first day at casino...sweet place. the beach isn't as big as miller but the location in relation to chicago is great...really short drive.

saw steve, cory, flavio, west, and some others....basically, what cory said! it was my first time getting up and riding in waves...due to the wind being absolutely nuclear at zion the two times I've been there. (which for me was a debacle)

gotta say, as much as I like flat water it was pretty sweet to mess around in the surf...especially the starboard tack back upwind in the foot or so of water right where the waves were breaking...but don't get me wrong, I was defitely bombin' down wind.

cory, thanks for the advice and letting me try that super sweet board....I'm freakin' sore!

you guys are killing me! Scott, glad you're starting to like the waves. I hit a point where I love waves now more than flat water, though its nice to ride flat water when you can - I can learn new things in flat water more easily.

I'm hoping to catch some wind with you guys this weekend. I'm hoping for wind. puh leeze~!
