1- you should do this on flat water, that helps alot
2- bend your knees
3- pull your front foot upwind
4- edge hard with the balls of your rear foot and kinda crunch down while riding
To initiate the turn, riding heelside with the kite around 50-60 degrees, edge a bit harder with the board and do a little "hop" like you're doing a backloop but only go 1/4 way around. You gotta kinda turn your body on its own axis which is weird since im so used to riding heelside. with more practice itll get easier I imagine.
