Did your time away from the rat race serve you well? Don't hold out on the crew. Post the details so we can rent the room you trashed last week.

Has anyone kitesurfed in or around Tahiti? I'm going there in a week and am thinking about bringing my gear.

The place I stayed, Safari Lodge... was AMAZING.
If you change your mind and go to Fiji, let me know and I'll help you find the best places to go

I didn't end up bringing my gear or riding while I was out there. Moorea though is probably one of the greatest places I have seen for Kiting. It is a totally protected lagoon with big reef breaks about a mile out if you want to hit the waves. The wind probably blew about 30 miles an hour every 3 days out of 5. Unfortunately, I decided to wait a couple days because of some scuba dives I had setup and the one day I was going to ride had very little wind. Could have rode with a real big kite but nobody had one.

Yeah, PR was nice, but I can't really compare since we stayed in San Juan.
