Did your time away from the rat race serve you well? Don't hold out on the crew. Post the details so we can rent the room you trashed last week.

When I went to Miami 2 years ago the sky was full of kites, but last year I was the only one. I was planning to rent or borrow a board ($75 airline charge is a little too much for me to handle), but could not find a single kitesurfer. Granted the winds were never more than 15knots, but I would expect to see a big 16meters out there.
Anyone knows were to go for kitesurfing when in Miami? :?:
I am planning to go in a month or so.

Dude, if you haven't been there yet, the place to go in Miami is the beach right in front of the Red Fish Grill. The restaurant address is:
9610 Old Cutler Rd.
Matheson Hammocks State Park
Kendall, FL 33156
The bay over there is perfect for kitesurfing. And everyone gets together there.

Biscane (sp?) Beach is another hot spot right on the southern tip. Kind of a "locals" beach without much tourism but huge for kites.
