Did your time away from the rat race serve you well? Don't hold out on the crew. Post the details so we can rent the room you trashed last week.

I'm thinking about going to Maya Tulum for a yoga retreat and found out there's kite surfing nearby. woo! Kiting and yoga, now that's an unbelievable vacation!
Has anyone gone to this area to kite and if so, how was it?
Or if you haven't gone, wanna go with me?
Have a great day!

Tracy, I've kited there. The wind is usually around 14-18mph in May when I have usually gone for my b-day. The beach is narrow so you can kite alone by water launching or getting creative with the launch. You can walk up a ways and find a wider spot. If you can stay upwind, just launch land in the same spot. Would love to go with youbut already have a few vacations planned:
2 trips to Corpus
1 trip to Puerto Rico
1 trip to Newport Beach
1 trip to Gorge (but still in the air on this one).
So with 5 one-week trips already planned int eh next 6 months I'm booked!
