Looks like it will be a little warmer and should be blowing from the South before going SSW-SW. Anyone planning on going to Waukeegan?

Sheboygan was brutal this afternoon with winds being strong and gusty. Two of us out on 7 and 8 meter kites riding our smallest boards. Wind has slowed and is more SW with the swell looking outstanding.
I'd rather be Rollerblading

gnarly. i'm sick of riding 6m kites in this gusty shit.
it still blows me away that people rig up such big kites in strong wind with the false comfort that they have 100% depower.
hmmm let me think, if i couldn't hold onto a c-kite the same size then maybe this bow kite could seriously hurt me if something goes wrong.
just rig a smaller kite, twice as fun, 10x as safe.

Wolf Lake was brutal as well. very good 6-7M wind in the beginning but around 1 oclock it gusted to 45. You know it's strong when a 6M is overpowered in the gusts. Great day to be outside in early April though!

I had 8m up from the beginning and waited for the wind..Had a blast in some waves and once the direction shift it was time to get out.
