Anyone up for the other side of the lake?! We may start at Tisco & follow it up on our way to Tawas.

Could you please explain these fascinating yet murky nicks (Tisco, Tawas) for those not in the know?

Tisco= Tiscornia Park in St. Joseph MI, on North Side of channel- usually ride that on a SW, otherwise on N winds go to the other side of the channel, Silver Beach

Tawas= Tawas Point, MI, East side of the state, NNE from Saginaw

Sorry bout the vague details...I used to hate when people did that! Thanx, guys, for clearing that up for me.

Wind's picking up @ Tisco. Slightly off shore tho. May head up to South Haven..

How was it at Tisco yesterday?

Heard about people interacting with the coast guard. Cross off shore winds at Tisco gets very unstable the farther you go from the pier, specially if it is marginal.

Planning on hitting the road tomorrow towards the south side.
