RRD board lost

Postby xwindsurf » Sun Oct 03, 2010 12:00 am

White, 150x45 or so, some screws rusted, with Liquid Force pads. Lost in the Battle of Zion on Sat, 10-2. Most likely would wash in Kegs, or vicinity. My name should be on it, unless it washed away.

Found it... some 300 yards north of the weather station, which means about 1-1.5 mile downwind from the spot I lost it

Sure it does. So far I have a perfect record - 5 times lost (Michigan, Indiana, Maui, S. California, and now this), 5 times found. By now, I got pretty good at predicting how far it would go.

See, there is a problem: I know where to look for a lost board - but wouldn't know where to look for lost body parts.

Which weather station? Didn't think Zion had one.

I think this is a weather station, but maybe just a radio transmitter, a little white box close to the top of a metal grate tower, located a little bit offshore (perhaps 100 yards), almost as far south as you can go on that beach
