Looking great! So much fun here. Glad you guys brought the wind with you!
We had some pics though our kite bags were stolen along with camera, phone, car key, banana chips, etc. Watch your stuff at the kite spots. We were just South of Frisco at the Washout on the Sound side. We turned around for five minutes to help a friend launch and the bags were gone.
Other than that, kiter's paradise! Hope to meet up with you guys soon!
Happy Kiting!

Amanda, we were there exactly at the same time. Luckily my wife was keeping an eye on our things since she is recovering from harness sore. I am sorry to hear that. With a bad economy and the fact that it is offseason the beach rats are everywhere

There's great news that restores some faith in the goodness of humanity. The bags were picked up by people in a group doing a downwinder. They were just discovered today when a kiter returned home and was unpacking his car. Luckily, there was just enough battery left to get a contact number off of the phone. Bags will be sent home to Chicago along with some extra pumps and things they had picked up from other random kiters along the way.
Great meeting Bob and his crew yesterday! So fun kiting off their launch and downwinding to Salvo. Such nice people and so much fun hanging out with everyone!

Very cool that it was by accident and you got all your stuff back. Glad we had a chance to meet you and the rest of the crew and hoping for good winds the rest of the week.

I was shocked to hear that someone had stolen your gear so it's great to hear that it was just a mistake. Glad to hear that you guys got your stuff back.

Well it didn't take took long for Mr Murphy to get me. I had my bag, pump and
lug wrench stolen/borrowed/mistakenly grabbed at Hatteras turnout just past Frisco. Well walked outside today and I had a flat. I've been back less than two weeks. I must have had some real bad Karma stored up.
