How in March is Clinton lake 62F ? Is it a cooling lake for a power plant? Reason why I ask a buddy of mine was just there and it was 47F...

Yes, the plants discharge is responsible for the warming. Temps vary this time of year relative to location of said discharge. We sailed off of swim beach which registered 65* and 62* at different times and combined w/ 70* air made for very warm conditions in a wetsuit.
Nice pics, Frank, and that 17m Bularoo will provide a lot of water time this summer accelerating your learing curve; impressive kite and impressive performance on your part. Look forward to many more...

Nice pics, cool place.
What wind directions work best there? How is the launch?

NIce!!! Might be a place I would like to scope out in the winter months! I can hit lake Michigan at any temp, coldest this year was 19F air temp with a 25g 33kt NE wind making the wind chill well below zero. I am sure I can handle any of that warm water down there plus i would give me a chance to visit family in Bloomington/Normal lOl.
