Nice, thanks adrien. Chicago spring is great, but with a couple vacation days to burn this month I'm itching to try somewhere new.

Still bummed I missed last saturday at keegs!

SPI.........South Padre Island. May is a great windy month for South Texas. There is a demo/contest the 18th thru 23rd of May. Texas is in the midst of a drought, which means WIND, and plenty of it!!! Should be a tremendous time down there at the Round-up.........of course, Hatteras is always an option......

i was in SPI last May.
Was OK. it is building by noon and in afternoon riding is better.
It is hit or miss on some of the days in May. But with the big kite and board u can ride almost each day.

Yeah, I hear you there Ben.....last year was not a typical South Texas May.....the wind was hit or miss.....this year TX is experiencing a drought, which means dry, hot winds cranking damn near daily.....Jerry said that he has been riding his 6's and 8's all the time in Corpus this Spring, and it is showing no signs of letting up.....SOOOOOO I believe this weather pattern will continue into June and the Round-up will be rocking!!!!!

If you can book a trip and get ready for Shiners on the beach after a long day of kiting the flats or the surf!!!! The BROS will be rolling out the welcome mat for any of the CHITOWN crrew that shows up.....We are taking about 2 dozen new BRO boards for demos, and I will be bringing back some of them to Chicago to sell at a reduced rate!!

West and Ben, thanks for the info. Hot and windy sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! Anyone from chitown thats going to be down there between 5/20 and 5/30 and has extra space in their house let me know!!

Took my first ever trip to hatteras last october and it was unreal. We rode 4 out of 5 days and got to hang and drink beers with a lot of chill folks.

I will keep an ear open for available "sleep space". I would just bring sleeping gear, and there will be plenty of kiters to hit up for a little room....shouldn't be an issue, lots of cool folks. Will let you know if I hear of anything, I believe our floor space is all tapped out at the moment, but will check it out.

So I decided on the gorge 6/2 - 6/6 since I'll already be in seattle for work. Any chicago riders going to be out there that weekend?

Kited, snowboarded and mountain biked all in the same weekend...doesn't get any better than that!!! No way to get bored there, even if you do get skunked on wind!
