Greeting from Fuerteventura-Spain

Just got back from the trip to Europe. I spent 2 weeks in Fuerteventura Spain when they have World Cup in Kite and wind surfing,
Great place to visit, everyday is windy and sunny, Had a really good time and did lots of riding.
Here are some pics:

This lagoon fills with water12-24" and you can have super session on butter smooth water








where did the water go?
Right by cotillo-super beach to practice, flat with waves on the outside. you just dont want to find your self on those rocks
few hours later ir was back to normal

Damn I am bummed that you didn't post earlier that you were going there........one of the first kiters, along with Lou, Elliot, Felix, and Mauricio lives there now......his name is Fadi Issa; he was a room mate of mine in Paia, Maui years ago, and helped teach me to kite in 2000. He is all SOUL buddy, and quite a fantastic kiter. He moved there with his wife Melissa about 10 years ago and runs a kitehouse off in the desert next to some great surf break.....lmk if you ran into him while over there. If not, maybe next time. Heard the place was "off da hook"!!!!!!

It is good to know locals. too bad i did knew about it. i run in to locals everyday, some i really nice and helpful. some think they own a beach and wont let "turisto" ride there. your buddy is in cotillo really nice place to ride waves. had a really good time there on main beach and on some small hidden ones.

Used it all!
even there were day i wished i had my 13.5. It was a good time to chat with pep on the beach-reminded me Chicago and the good company we allways have here!
