I'll get out there by 3ish, but might check out Michigan City first. Might be a good day for waves to set up around the pier.

Forecast model is really strange. Anyone else see this on the Great lakes forecast.

I'll decide tomorrow. I wouldn't mind a Lake Street session though.

It was less nextdoor at Pier Marquette Park, 1000M east.

Beverly Shores Beaches... free.

M-City pay to park as well.

I'm going to go to Miller (the partheon). Should be Straight west and maybe a hint of North. No storms in sight and a nice sunny day.

let's all go there!!! I'll head out around 1. Who's in for going to the Partheon (it's free )

They usually block off the enterance to the PArthenon and make you go to the main lot now and pay a few bucks. Which is fine, its safer and stops those up to no good from cruising the lots.

Hopefully it won't be offshore there. Gonna check with others for a report before I leave at 2:30, otherwise further East, where the shoreline starts sloping a bit North, might be the call.

No your not talking about the same place:

Lake St Beach is at the end of the road in Miller.

Marquette PArk is next door to the east. It's about 1000 yards east of Lake Street / Miller.
Inside the park, served by a one way loop road, there is a bathing pavillion from the 40"'s that looks like Soldier Field...or the PArthenon.
If thats blocked off, the main lot is just before you reach the PArthenon, behind a small stone wall. We usually park at the fat upwind end, toward the PArthenon.... if the PArthenon free parking is closed, then you have to do another loop of the one way road to get back to the main lot.

It's perfect Marquette or Miller conditions...turning slightly off west toward north.... 280 degrees at 15 kts gusting to 25 from 1pm...

Which location then, A or B? Look at the map I attached. I think the location A is where you pay only few bucks in it is better if the winds are straight west.

I think I will choose the Letter A today! I usually park on the West/Upwind side of the parking lot. Here's the google maps link for anyone that needs help finding the place.
