Where to go this weekend, for those of us that won't be able to go to Tawas?
I've been watching the wind forecast and they're almost changing by the minute.
Miller was looking good earlier today. Now it is changing too. I need to do some more dragging and learn to go up wind!
I want to get that board under my feet before the summer is over! Any ideas?

this is the time of the year the forecast is not as accurate unless there's a strong system coming in. As a result, you might want to head where thermals can generate some wind (i.e. LSP when blowing from South)

Yepp keegs on the weekends charges $20. Zion is closed spook, unless the wind gets down to the bottom then lake street which is $10 but you might be wasting $10 in gas lol.

Is anyone out there thinking of riding in Indiana this Sunday 8/14? I'm just getting into the sport and would like to meet some local riders.

The NORTH part of Illinois Beach / Zion Park is Open.

Enter of 18th St.... I think. Go early, as parking is limited.

You might consider a hike across the dunes and using a smaller side lot to avoid the crowds.

Parking is FREE.
