Thank you for a picture John, nice to meet you!!!
Have to mention this again,do yourself a big favor and sell those kites immediately, probably you'll have to eat some loss, since that price you told me was too steep for that gear..,I know its hard from beginning to figure out by yourself what to buy, size, price, ect,,,but you would probably hurt yourself or others down the road, not to mention slow learning process. There'll be many other stuff to learn and re-launching kite in the water should be as easy as possible, not the other way!
I have to say,Amanda did amazing job with you, which was the reason why we tried to help you yesterday..You were able to fly a kite, body dragging and display how to flag your kite if necessery!!!That was the best idea to get a lesson prior to get into this sport...
but, what you should have done differently is to buy your first gear from your instructor or if on tight budget ask your inctructor(in your case Amanda)to help you choose a used gear, size, ect. As I know Amanda, she would be more than welcome to offer a free hand,advice..
I would guess 110-120pounds?No way 2006 11mC and 15m C kite is setup for you.11m(maybe max 12m)and 8-9 with your weight, bow, sle,I suspect you had very tight budget, but even with that you could buy one good kite instead of two outdated, wrong equipment..
btw..I did get your pm,saw many new names on the forum recently,so maybe it could help others as well.
Hope to see you soon Jonh!!!!
if you have any other question, feel free to ask here, since many others would give you good advice on this board...
Heineken doesn't taste same anymore!
