Looks pretty good for tomorrow. Thinking about a day off and ripping it up. Is anyone gonna have any energy left after this monsoon of wind?

Packing up the RV and heading to Michigan City soon. Will kite there today(Wednesday) and tomorrow(Thursday) and then head straight to Tawas from there. See you out there!

Keegs is blowing nice. Pic taken over lunch. Butter smooth with 20 solid knots on the outside.

Wow, I've never seen or been on a North wind @ Waukegan, I gotta give that a try it's butter smooth in there.

Is it gustier though since Waukegan isn't the best for a North?

The close in section is a bit shadowed but you can still get moving then you hit the full 20knots and blam to the moon. Did some fun speed runs yesterday. Wish I had a GPS to clock it.

So you were looking to go to Zion and because MC dropped some you backed off on 6-9ft 30Kts forecast?Do I understand this right?

Ivo, instead of jagged remarks , please put some description of your massive downwinder today. I saw a lot of happy-warrior-the-world-is-ours faces on the beach at Kegs when you were done. I know it was an invitation-only event but nothing wrong about sharing after the fact, right?

I was at Miller (lake st) from sun up to around 3pm until I couldnt take the rain anymore. I was on a 9m all day Polo

polo-miller is great but alot of us pass on it when its too onshore like yesterday because you need to the wind to be far more sideshore to go toe side down the line. Zion tho not a big swell yesterday had a perfect side shore angle to ride down the line for miles. you cant do that at miller in the same way on that direction. glad you got the stoke to be out ther tho

I can see where the more experienced would have been bored the onshore allows me to tighten up on my upwind abilities, either go upwind or eat the beach haha! The swells were all over the place waves all diverging into each other making it a rough ride, great practice...

invitation-only event----that doesnt exist at all..true when I go out,I do send some alerts,but mostly all have my number and using that,,works great,,but we talked about this before.You have my number as well,so use it next time its windy and If im not on the water,usually know who is.

Yea shoulda gone. Its okay though, i had the day off to hang out in the studio and jam abit and work on some amps.

Work on some amps, now your talking lol. I use to deal a
with a lot of car audio since I was a kid learned and burned knowing how to repair was a must! Now mainly I deal with some class a/b and class d sub amps. I am a total solder junkie.
