Few pics from Labor day

Had a great labor day in Manistee last week. 20+ knts out of the north with some nice waves wrapping around the south pier riding on my new BRO . Rode with my buddy Jeff from Grand Haven and we ended the day with our first downwinder as the sun came out

Not quite the professional pictures that have been posted on here lately, but not too bad either. In the last two pictures you can see Big Sable Point in the distance.

Not sure about this "Michigan" place. That coastline is disturbingly free of power plants, concrete debris and beachgoers.

Where is this place? Would like to shoot here with the dunes!

Manistee is about a 4.5 hr drive from Chicago, up the michigan coast. It is nice, but if you are looking to take scenic pictures with dunes, I would also consider going a little further to the Sleeping Bear Dunes national lakeshore. It is only about another hour north of Manistee.
